I have mentioned before that I am a budding designer, although I have no formal training I have been self teaching my way round the core applications for a while now. Still a long way to go. I had a request recently to create a logo for a young girls cake company. This is what I did.
I always used to draw as a kid but stopped when I was in my early teens. I don’t know why but in recent months I have found my love for it again. Something I have always struggled with is drawing faces. I have never gotten on well with it. So I thought I would try to learn a bit about it but take it to the extreme with Caricatures.
Following my attempt to copy a tutorial from the Practical Photoshop magazine collection and the subsequent Cyborg Woman image I created, I was asked by a friend to do something similar for her. Only she wanted something more Steampunk than Cyborg.
Im very much an amateur when it comes to Photoshop but am trying to learn through various resources. The internet, magazines and from friends etc. This time I decided to have a go at the Practical Photoshop monthly challenge which this time was to create a Cyborg Woman. Here was my attempt.
As well as photography Ive always enjoy art. From a young age I used to love drawing and painting and now in the digital world we live in this is done more and more on computers. For Me I have chosen Photoshop as a lover of all things Adobe. This is the first post in what will become many as I talk about my learning curve in this system and show you some of the things I have created. They wont be masterpieces but I will share them all the same.
