A few months ago I came across Triggertrap for IOS and was instantly drawn in by the potential for what this app could do. Im not here to promote it and shout about its features, instead I wanted to share some Time Lapse experimentation ive been doing using the app.
This summer was one of the longest of my life and for some of my colleagues an even longer one. It was emotional, tiring, exciting and a privilege as I got to be involved in and work at the London 2012 Olympic games.
I recently got to shoot a Guitar Icon and Rock Legend as Slash performed at the NIA in Birmingham. As a big fan of Slash and having seen him just a year or so earlier at Glastonbury I was incredibly excited to get the chance to take pictures of him as he performed with Myles Kennedy and his band.
I had the opportunity recently to shoot the mighty Rammstein at the LG Arena in their latest tour. I’ve loved their music for a long time and wanted to go to see them even before this chance came up. I was thrilled when I was told I could not only attend the concert but get up close and personal in the pit to shoot them.
At the end of November I was asked about taking some pictures for friends who wanted to do something nice for their partners for Christmas. After discussing requirements I agreed to attempt the shoot despite not really knowing much about Boudoir photography. So at the beginning of December we set about trying our hand at it. Here are the results.
You may have read previous posts about my desires to work with a wedding photographer as a second shooter. You may also remember that I wasn’t doing too well in finding someone willing to take me out. That changed recently when I met Jenny Lilly while she was shooting a friends wedding. I asked nicely and to my surprise she agreed to take me along on a shoot. That shoot was this weekend just gone. It was a great day so I thought I would share some of it with you.
Well tonights photoshoot was quite different to that of Tuesday. From Kasabian and their beer chugging fan base to the teenage girl sensation that is the Saturdays. A whole new challenge with a few new things for me to wrestle with.
